JohnWayne23 5,227
So remember back in like 2015 Rihanna singles kept flopping and ANTI kept not coming? At that point it pretty much seemed like Rihanna was done for. But then ANTI came outing everything was okay again. I'm wondering if Katy is now gonna take a page out of Rihanna's book on this. Let "Bon Appetit" flop and then come back in 2018, with a completely different KP4, without CTTR and BA on it. I truly can't see Capitol putting an album out after BA Thoughts on this happening? lifeasgeorge 9,427
I still feel like it won't work for her, Rihanna is such an exception in the music industry. She can do ANYTHING and still not flop live and let live
Saint Hollywood 37,364
Katy needs to evolve and prove to the public that she is a respectable artist. The faster, the better.
ItWasntLaauv 6,392
I thought about this too, I love the idea tbh!! Maybe that's why Spotify said CTTR was a buzz single .
DiamondAngel 5,044
It's been long enough for her without a hit, if she wants to scrap she needs to cook up something fast. Truly all she needs is a good song. I like Katy's singles but her last 3 (rise, cttr, ba) are honestly horrendous (well, cttr isn't HORRENDOUS, but it's not single material). I'd say 5 in a row considering Birthday and This is How We Do also didn't do so well live and let live

juju 18,907
I'd be here for Katy to re-do her concept, yes. "Woke pop" is not her forte But I wouldn't want her to release an album next year and block Gaga, if Gaga releases anything. ❤ x ❤

Honestly, I think the GP likes Gaga more than Katy at the moment , I get your concern though.

Rihanna literally writes her own rules when it comes to the music industry, she really defies all odds Who can release an album every year for like 7 years straight and not experience backlash from overexposure? Who can make pop music, yet be an anti-role model and still be popular with the kiddies? Who can comeback from 2015, like she did? Who can make Dance/Pop albums and then go on and make an R&B album and be just as successful? Rihanna definitely is an exception. Fascinating
