Wow that was great  Towards the end the previously transphobic guy really had me as well, but thank goodness it was a joke. This was really eye opening and I think it can only be a good thing as long as the two parties are up for discussing things in the proper manner. You may not change another person's opinions at the end of the discussion, but at least they'll have given you their perspective and vice versa, like you can both leave the discussion with a better understanding of the person or the argument they're supporting

BUT I'm getting a very low key impression that they're portraying the left as the good guys and the right as the villains who have to do some soul-searching and need to be given a chance. Both sides have some soul searching to do tbh. But then again it would be hard to stick that all in to a 4 minute commercial.

I know right?!? I admit that I teared up a little bit at that part. There's an event called "Drag Con" here in LA (actually starts today) where all members of the drag community come together to support one another. The beautiful thing is for these 2 days of the event, there are no labels or cliques. We are all "one" so to speak. The drag queen is joking with the lesbian who is joking with the straight woman who is hugging the trans woman who is joking with the straight guy (you get me point lol). We're all "family" here and that's the way it should be. We shouldn't be defined by labels but by the content of our character.
