The island isn't deserted. There's a freaking sandals resort on it. The guy tweeting that he was robbed and had his tent on fire was trolling and is not at the festival. The hysterics coming out of this event is actually perfect proof that its attendees don't really understand real world struggles or difficulties. Being stranded for 1-2 days half a mile from a world-wide resort with a tent to sleep in and unpleasant food is of course not ideal, especially in contrast to expectations, but it is far from the end of the world or life threatening...
