This is song it not catchy and dont going anywhere

it expect to build something bring something fresh but not deliver

and this is her worst single and judge by only katy perry standard

since Teenage Dream album i never dislike her single except Roar and Rise

At least she used to be queen of generic catchy pop but this is ..not

If you call the cure generic pop song is ok but worse than this

even chainsmoker rycycle sound the one and paris not even worst than this

hideous repetitive lyrics / weak chorus / meh rap verses / ok beats

If u think BA is good generics catchy pop song great production than the cure

:sure:

This is all your subjective biased opinion. It's not facts. At least it's generic in a Katy Perry way she didn't try to copy the mainstream justin bieber-chainsmokers sound :)

At the beginning it sounded like it could be a bop, and I was anticipating for the chorus, but then it didn't come . What a wasted opportunity:nails:

Migos' part was good, Katy's was flat tho imho :reductive:

why do we not compare? because this is a Gaga forum, do we really blatantly follow one person? BonApettite and The Cure are both produced specifically to be a hit. "underwhelming" is your opinion. just like my opinion on The Cure being a shame in Gaga's artistry:poot:

I have a huge second thoughts about BA being made to be a hit. Looks like something didn't work properly, but good for Katy I guess.

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

it's not that bad but a bit underwhelming

i liked the snippet (thought those were the versrs though )

the chorus is the only good part , but something is missing

We all know this will be cooked into a hit so bon appétit everyone :)

The beat reminds me of something you'd hear when you're put on hold, it really goes nowhere :toofunny:

That instrumental doe.

Dat producer knows what they're doing.

That being said.

It's nice to know the spirit of ARTPOP is still with us :green:

Life ain't Hollywood for any one of us.

I never know chainsmoker or Justin Bieber make the song that influnce by 90' RnB and used real voice with less auto tune before

when the song also sound much a like her unrelease song mix with trendy sound

Include write her own simple lyrics that generic by your standard

Katy used must popular writer is pop history god of pop max martin like ever

and yet featuring migos is not try to hop to trend

she didn't try..

I love the instrumental; I just... I know it's been said TO DEATH on these forums, but I was kind of excited that CTTR was a departure from the really basic songwriting that characterizes a lot of her music, buttttttt this is a return to form.   :air:

But hey, the instrumental is fun, and I'm sure I'll hear it so much that I'll be able to sing along by next month, sooooo

I'm talkin' 'bout forever, baby.
