Some of it has to do with music, like a straight guy who listens to Gaga is "for sure gay" while a straight girl who listens to Bruno Mars is in love. :neyde:

Yeah and actually a lot of monsters contribute to this stigma/stereotype when they respond to someone in the forums who say they're straight.

OT: awaiting for TJ of Virgin Radio Toroto to spin The Cure

Can't believe we still stan for Fadga tbh

Gaga knows what she's doing with like Cheek to Old Buyers and JohannaCountry. Moving beyond reliance on us, since she knows most of us will ditch eventually :air:

i hate these labels for music, can't people just enjoy an artist without it having anything to do with their personal life:madge:

Straight guy here, liking gaga since i was 11 years old :queenga:

I was a young gay back in 2008 who fell in love with Gaga, and never abandon her till now that I'm "older audience"

I've said it 1000x in this thread but it's timely here:

Most A-lister artists from the US are global by nature, thanks to the internet. It doesn't matter where they promote or tour. That stopped mattering in like 2011. It's just about the sound of their radio singles.

So we think 'Into You' is more accepted for a straight guy to jam out too than a song like 'Million Reasons' ...? Lol. It's all about image.

Well yeah its about the image, but Gaga's music created a lot of her image. The stigma of being a "gay artist" around her all up until the superbowl pretty much. It is more accepted for a straight guy to jam out to Into You than Born This way or Judas.

You can always see straights posting Ari's pic like "wow she's so damn pretty marry me" but you will almost never see a straight guy post a Lady Gaga anything.

Which is exactly my point. It's about image.
