DWUW sold 1,2 million copies in the US despite not having a video and was a top ten hit in more than 10 countries. Katy still has to achieve the level of perfection of these performances. - Applause at the VMA - iTunes Festival in London - DWUW and Dope at Alan Carr's show - DWUW and Gypsy on SNL - Applause at Music Station - Applause & Venus at SMAPxSMAP - DWUW at the AMAs - DWUW at The Voice with legend Christina Aguilera - ARTPOP at the Tonight Show - SXSW Festival (I know some of you don't like it, but it was ICONIC) The worldwide tour grossed +80M G.U.Y. bombed but we got a flawless music video featuring more ARTPOP songs. You just either said something or didn't or you just are or aren't. It's the same way using women as objects in music videos is inherently sexist.
