Shaking The discount hasn't nothing to do with the success of the song because it's discounted in Italy as well and it's barely touching top40 on iTunes. I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist but I can only assume that the playlist panel are letting their personal bias get in the way of playing what people clearly want to hear. Nah they spam plenty of international acts, even flop singles like Bon Apetit and Everyday. They also had Green Light on A List and played it pretty much every hour for like two months despite it never making the top ten even with a discount.
