Sis, she just released a pop country album 6 months ago, one that wasn't as successful as it could have been if it had a commercial sound, and she suddenly releases a song, in the middle of the era, one that's catered to radio, one with a perfectly executed rollout, one with everything LMs complain she doesn't do, with a simple structure, "pleasant" vocals, no sex themes, with the vaguest and most cliche love lyrics and with a beat that fits all of the music trends right now. Why would Gaga, of all people, suddenly release a single so perfectly crafted to be a hit, just 6 months after an album (when she takes around 3 years between releases) that everyone says doesn't have any more hits to offer, after everyone complained that they wanted the Red One songs, after she had to fight for 5 months to make one of the songs from Joanne a hit?. You don't have to infer that much to be able to say that the song was made to be a hit, that she realized that she couldn't let the momentum she gained with MR pass but every song on Joanne was too risky and would have taken an incredible amount of work (like MR) to make a hit, so she now releases a perfect pop song crafted in a laboratory, so it can be a success, ride the momentum and regain her commercial power, and all of that while she's busy with ASIB and the tour. It's certainly was made for the charts but so was alot of her other songs to so no diffrence. Then it's up to yourself if you like it or not but don't try to force your oppinion on others.
