top 10 would be great, just setting my expectations really low to not be disappointed :reductive:

I feel ya. I just think it'd be embarrassing for her to release such a radio ready song and then for it to not even go Top 10 :air:

Even CTTR looked like a streaming hit

Let's be real, CTTR is a hit. Not a smash but still it's a big song.

In eruope maybe yes, but not in the US if it possibly leaves the top50 in two weeks

Katy Kats called Applause flop and Applause is bigger than CTTR

so CTTR is a huge flop

What Spotify deal are we talking about.

Katy had massive Spotify promotion when CTTR, basically her label replicating her radio payola but on Spotify. She broke first day stream records (I think), but she's been surpassed now as far as I know

A big song that is losing 5m audience every day that will drop out of the hot 100 in 3-4 weeks yes :reductive:

Actually at this rate Million Reasons will be above CTTR in less than a week on radio

It is a small hit, but it was expected to smash hard so that's why everyone is shook at it's underperformance.

It's much bigger outside US tho

I mean.. Gaga is clearly working with Spotify to boost TC, so Im not gonna say anything about Katy promoting heavily there.

it's been losing 5m audience since a week now, way before the single was even announced. Radio just rejected this abnormaly fast.

Anyway, i'm not here to lengthily talk about 'the singer we shouldn't talked about in this thread'

I would say it's def a hit in Europe (not maybe) and in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Also it's not like it was a total disaster in the US either. It was just out there.
