Omg haha

But maybe it is, she's dancing with her hands above her head and going crazy (literally with the bridge "gaga gaga gaga") to try to escape reality.

If Bloody Mary (which was rumoured to be a TFM track before its release on BTW) was on the album, I wonder what fear it'd have been

maybe that was supposed to be fear of god. also fear of judgment, hence stones being thrown at her/him.

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

There are more but I didn't have the links to upload them at the time.

Interesting tidbits about the songs though.

I was thinking about this last week when I heard she used Monster and Swine in the intro for Coachella

Wait wait and then she opened with Scheisse cause she's a strong female:cryga:

Here's how I interpreted them:

BR- Fear of being alone

Alejandro- Fear of commitment/love

Monster- Fear of heartbreak

Speechless- Fear of loss/losing someone

Dance In the Dark- Fear of not being good enough

Telephone- Fear of commitment/suffocation

SHICD- I don't feel like this one really ties into the fear theme for me

Teeth- Absence of fear

Why would Sexxx Dreams be related to songs about a boy being a monster and a pig?

Hm, I tried to find things about this, but I found nothing :cryga: all I remember is that especially the boyfriend line was about ppl trying to get her do stuff wih her (really, just that one line - not the rest of the song). But honestly, it has been years since I heard this, so idk about that.

If it doesn't ring a bell, then I don't think it's important to discuss it further :awkney:

bad romance - fear of love. loving someone or something so deeply that you stop caring about your own well being and start being self destructive

"i want your love and i want your revenge"

alejandro - fear of love. the fear of loving someone who hurts/ abuses you

"she's got both hands in her pocket, but she wont look at you

(like a child --> innocence) she hides true love en su bolsillo (too afraid to speak out on what she really wants --> therefore shes not yet ready to be in control of herself in a relationship)

shes got a halo around her finger, around you (halo=innocence, she believes in his good intentions)

shes not broken, shes just a baby

but her bf like a dad.  just like a dad. all those flames that burn before him (all the desire and lust he feels) gotta cool the bed (suppress his sexual desires)

monster - fear of sex. fear of losing yourself to your own sexual desires. letting something sexually destroy you

speechless - fear of death. she explained that one quite well herself

dance in the dark - fear of self. losing yourself in all of your insecurities.

"baby loves to dance in the dark, cause when he's looking she falls apart"

"she looks good but her bf says shes a mess, now the girl is stressed: shes a mess,  shes a mess, shes a mess, shes a mess (bc she doesnt lover herself, she stresses out over what her bf says and starts doubting and hating herself. the repetition of shes a mess symbolizes those terrorizing thoughts of self hate.

telephone - fear of suffocation. lyrics are kinda self explaining. its about getting so caught in work and modern media that you cant enjoy yourself and relax. the songs production really hits the nail on its head.

so happy i could die - fear of drugs incl alcohol.

"be your best friend, yeah ill love you forever, up in the clouds, we'll be higher than ever" being so high you feel like you love everyone around you. the day after you realize that it was an illusion.

"so happy i could die" getting so high you could overdose and die. literally.

"i love that lavender blonde, the way she moves the way she walks, i touch myself, csnt enough" shes in love with an image of herself rather than accepting her true self right now --> narcissism. narcissism is one of the main causes of addiction.

teeth - fear of the truth. fear of being told the truth, fear of true intentions and therefore potential rejection
