What was Your First Impression of Lady Gaga?

I was at home and mtv was playing and they showed Poker face and as I walked by I had to stop and watch since it was so different than other music and she was mysterious. At first I was scared that she would be just another 1 hit wonder. But after Love game and paparazzi became hits I was so happy and hooked ever since cause I knew she was here to stay.

When I first heard Gaga it was when JD went to number 1 in January 2009 and I remember trying to avoid her for some reason, I thought she'd just have a few cute pop songs and that would be it. I became a secret fan and then the 09' VMAs happened and something clicked and it v clear she wasn't the usual pop star that I had grown used to and from then on I was a full pledged obsessed Stan.

I kind of knew her sort of heard Poker Face and some other tracks 

but it wasn't until Alejandro that got me saying "who's this?" 

and I looked up the song and the video.....well I was shocked LOLOL

Just Dance was the catchiest thing ever and I loved her electronic/high voice back then.

Lol I remember turning on MTV and just dance was playing and I was like why is her name so weird, I was boping to it tho. Then my brother showed me the VMA 2009 performance and we both fell in love . Then bad romance was released and we died

I liked PF a lot, but I wasn't really interested in her. Then Paparazzi video came, and it turned me gay

Loved her music and thought she was pretty and never thought she was shocking per say until 2010, became a fan instantly after Glastonbury but became a full time hardcore stan at 15 during the BTW era and went to the BTWB

I felt she was a kind of superheroine with amazing hair and outfits 

then I discovered that she was actually an amazing performer and since then I became a stan

I saw Paparazzi video on tv and I thought "So another blonde one hit wonder that no one cares about"

I saw the Lovegame music video and thought "well, another blonde sexy popstar with catchy music and sexy visuals, like Britney Spears etc". I was also shocked by the music video, I was 13, pure and innocent 

A few months later I listened to Poker Face and saw the music video, I thought it was weird. I remember seeing a parody with a friend of mine and being obsessed with it, I knew it better than the real song actually (Outer Space if anyone remembers it as well ?). For a few months I listened to Poker Face and Lovegame and did some karaokes on these songs with my friend, he also made me discover some songs by Katy Perry but I didn't really like any of these singers and thought Lady Gaga was just crazy.

Then I decided to listen to Paparazzi because I saw it being mentioned everywhere and I saw the light.
