Yeah but Gaga didn't drop a country ballad or something like that this time, TC is more radio friendly than 90% of the stuff on ANTI, and radio has already shown a lot of interes in it so I highly believe it'll be a radio hit, plus, it's cool to like Gaga too :giggle:

Anyway bookmark this thread, I think TC will go top10 in June

straight guys can listen to a rihanna song they cant listen to a gaga song. ditto for urban communities. it isnt 2012 anymore.

It isn't 2011-2013 either, it's 2017, Gaga is more than "the chick with the gay fan base" and that doesn't really have to do much with radio, radio'll play what songs that are trendy and that's it.

yeah and the cure would've been trendy in 2015 when that sound was relevant

You guys need to understand that the song has almost no radio presence yet, it has no promo (unless you count Coachella promo) and it's not hot tracked or discounted, how TF is it supposed to sell.......

PI was doing much much worse with a full-on radio deal, if TC had a radio deal it'd be in the top10 if itunes rn, so everybody needs to understand that the circumstances for this song are a bit different rn. In week 3 / 4 we'll see where the song is headed :gaysia:

It has no promotion and no radio play because gaga handles business wrong! That song should have been released to the radio before being put on iTunes and steaming sites. I see your point but it should be performing better. Gaga has millions of fans but her sales beg to differ. Btw perfect illusion was a horrible poor written and poor mixed song. :gaysia: I do love it now though lol

Ok you clearly dislike the song

The cure has a verrryyyy trendy production, bur it's also very Gaga with its punchy chorus and with the RnB vibes the song has, they kinda remind you of her pre Fame writing. It's an amazing pop song and it'll do great on the charts, bookmark this thread if you want.

You're right about the fact that it should have been sent to radios way before but yeah, that's not a big problem because radio has already picked it up! They're really investing on Spotify playlists rn that's why the hot track was removed, we can't have everything I guess... I still don't think there's anything to worry, Gaga's team is not dumb, she wouldn't release a trendy song and let it flop, it's showing all the sings of a top10 hit incoming, but I think we'll have even a better picture of where the song is going chart-wise in 2 weeks :gaysia:

That actually is shocking to me.  #3 in digital sales only earns #39 on the Hot 100 now. I know sales mean less than ever nowadays, but that really shows just how drastically the importance of sales have dwindled.

Weird example, but I specifically remember in 2011, What The Hell by Avril Lavigne only debuted at #6 in digital sales, but that was enough to secure #13 on the Hot 100.

Its shocking how much things have changed in 6 years, but then again it certainly makes sense!

Imagine how many hot 100 top 5 singles Gaga would have if they still did it the *really* old way, with sales only!
