Guest Posted April 23, 2017 Share Posted April 23, 2017 Left-wing parties are useless in this era, because they don't focus on security as much as right-wing parties, they suffer from laxism. Sure the left is great if the economy is doing great and there's no security problem but in my opinion u got no choice but to pick right or extreme right, or else the country is going to die, so anyone who shame people because they voted Le Pen or Fillon, leave people alone, we don't have to agree on politics, but we have our own reasonings and belief of what's better for the country for the 5 next years not a decade, so relax. Cut the immigrants social security and help by 100%. So what is politics supposed to do? Turn the immigrants back and let them suffer and starve? Eventhough there are normal families who just want to live a normal life? And that are actually working here and paying taxes, making ur country rich. That's why although Macron apparently has a lot of chances to be in 2nd round according to the media, you can still have some doubts, and there could be a plot twist somewhere. Indigenous French live usually on the countryside, and nobody is just french, just african, just japanese, we all mixed together at some point, it's detrimental to think that way. But I think your point is that most terrorist in France were born in France and are from North Africa which is true. But the problem is ideological not about color of the skin, there are french (whites whatever u wanna call it) who go to Syria to become a terrorist, and some french women who wear the veil and love islam although it's really rare I saw one on Saturday. She thinks that communitarism is detrimental to the french society, basically people not making an effort to integrate into the French way of life, she's not asking for people to deny their origin not being proud of it, but to become part of the country as a whole. There's no denying that most of the members of her party are racists which is the scary part, but her program in terms of security is good, in terms of economy, it makes sense, it's dealing with the reality of the problem with the European Union and not pretending like everything's alright cause you're scared of the unknown. France was doing well without EU it'll do well without it again, UK was doing great without the EU, it'll do well again. It's important to notice also that Switzerland is not part of the EU, and their economy is on point, actually most french people decide to live at the frontier so they can get a job there which is paid double.
