That's not the way to go. France is opposed to most trade deals. Marine Le Pen is, too. I don't see how a trade deal with China would be beneficial to France, Australia is a small market, Japan's trade deal is almost finished, Canada's trade deal is already finished and a majority of French don't want a trade deal with the US. Besides, the negotiating power of the EU on trade matters is way bigger than France as an individual country, and it really puts the EU in the front of the queue as it is the biggest market in the world. Voters have every opportunity every election to vote against the EU... so far, it has only happened in the UK and in Greenland. If French people really wanted to leave the EU, MLP would win today.
