In France and the rest of western Europe opposition parties and regional governments are very powerful. And even if she releases a EU referendum don't kid yourself, France will never leave the EU, France needs the EU and the EU needs France and France receives an insane amount of tourists so keeping the euro and staying in the bloc makes sense to nearly anybody. Take this from a Belgian resident living a few kms from France and that has visited baguetteland at least 20x before Oh and the French are amazing at marching and striking. Another national sport to keep politicians on their heels. What I want to say is Le Pen president will not do as much as she and her supporters want and she'll have to lower her tone or else la peuple will strike and march the streets hardcore like they've done since 1789 just my 2 cents The EU needs France more than France needs the EU. Th misconception amongst those that want to remain in the EU (Stockholm syndrome en masse) is that it will somehow stop tourism. It's a good job the USA is part of the EU then or they'd never visit France. Oh wait. You don't need to be in the EU to have tourists from within the EU visiting. You can, however, have much better terrorism prevention if all visitors have to be checked like if I went to America or Australia etc. It's not a hassle to do and ensures better terror detection. Where's the down side? France would also open itself up to trade deals with USA, Canada, Australia, China & Japan. The USA alone is a bigger and better trade partner than the EU purely from a value perspective. The EU is nothing more than a pair of shackles that nobody voted for. But all I see here is you vigorously supporting Le Pen, while indicating Macron supporters or others as stupid or naive, without putting out any concrete arguments for your statements. Not a very smart way to argue your point for a smart person like yourself, no?
