I am so disgusted by my country honestly. Now it is normal and acceptable to have the far right on the second tour of the election. Seriously? What is wrong with people! I don't like Macron either, but I will vote for him because he is much better than a crazy fascist.

Is there even a remote chance Marine Le Pen could win? Polls favour Macron. I know they favoured Hillary in the US but Trump was closer to her than Le Pen is to Macron.

I doubt she will but we never know. Mélenchon refused to call his voter to vote in favor of Macron and he represents 20% (Marine will maybe get 5-10% from there). Half of Fillon's voter could vote Le Pen too

from what I read when the first round happened, he's over 20 points ahead. Clinton was never 20 points ahead in polls at her highest after those debates and after the conventions. On Nov 8th she was only 3-4 points ahead. This is way different. You can trust the polls. 

PS even the Clinton thing was within the margin of error for polls since she still won by 2% in the popular vote. lol.

It's really not predictable, Macron represents the mondialisation and the banks in the "GP" mind. People who vote for Mélenchon are usually the total opposite. Marine Le Pen has a bad public image but her ideas are more like Mélenchon than Macron. 

This election result will be based on which side the Mélenchon's voter pool will choose.

idk about french politics at all really, I'm purely saying that polling suggests this is confidently Macron's race. The result will depend on issues and who chooses who, and polling is saying they're choosing Macron. lol. Whatever the reasons.

I applaud on Mélenchon on that. He shouldn't have to tell his voters who to vote for.

Sadly some of them want to abstain (which doesn't make sense Mélenchon wanted to make the vote compulsory) and some of them want to vote blank (which also doesn't make sense)

Marine Le Pen to appoint Eurosceptic prime minister ( Nicolas Dupont-Aignan) if she wins French election

 

 

Dupont-Aignan, a friend of Nigel Farage, the ex-UKIP leader, was one of several Eurosceptic candidates from smaller parties who stood in the first round of the presidential election on April 23. 

The leader of the  Gaullist leader of Debout La France (France Arise) welcomed Brexit and wants to push for France to abandon the euro, but during the first round campaign toned down calls for a return to the franc in favor of a new "negotiated single currency".
