They freaking voted for the continuation of Hollande's politics and they voted for a xenophobic racist misogynistic sexist candidate Macron won't continue Hollande's policies tho. Guest
Macron Vs Le Pen basically means "same sh1t or racist sh1t?"
OliverViennese 1,164
Jean-Marie Le Pen, the man who says the Holocaust did not happen, the man who committed war crimes in Algeria, father of Marine Le Pen talked to radio station RTL about the exit polls so far. According to him, his daughter wished to be in the second round against Macron cause he were "a prime example for 'the system'". Yeah he's only 39, that's way too young to be a president. Well, whether you like it or not, it helps. I would personally not be ashamed of having a young, dynamic, good-looking, fluent guy to represent me and my country internationally. And if he were totally incompetent, he wouldn't have gotten this far in the race.

OliverViennese 1,164
A graphic by le Monde puts into perspective just how bad these results are for the two (former?) great parties Gauche Socialiste and Droite parlamentaire. https://www.last.fm/user/derOlliM

SlaeUrAnus 16,111
Wouldn't the left-wing parties who lost encourage their supporters to vote for Macron though, therefore wouldn't Macron win by a large majority in the second round? I dunno In my messy era.

I dunno I'm not going to predict anything, but the chances of Macron winning the second round are very good. The worst case scenario: Possible Macron voters staying at home, thinking Le Pen has no chance to win anyway. https://www.last.fm/user/derOlliM
OliverViennese 1,164
Oh wow This is... interesting? While more and more candidates have come forward to admit that they've lost this election and tell who they will be voting for in the second round (aka. came forward with their support for Macron), Mélenchon says the first round is not done yet and that the results of some big cities ar still missing. https://www.last.fm/user/derOlliM
