Feel free to call and ask what percentage of phone calls are Urdu. Oh, so official statistics say it's 80% who speak english as a first language, but in reality it's just on #3 of the most common languages. OK, sorry - but this is really really dull. Spreading alternative facts has reached a new low here. Thanks for your help "insider". https://www.last.fm/user/derOlliM

Robagaga 9,345
@kyanewest @TheCure I respect your right to have an opinion, thats the great thing about being in a democracy, people can have different opinions and thats the beauty of a democracy. However I think it is everyones responability wether they are from the far right far left or center to make sure everything is based on truths. Don't just blindly listen to a "fact" because it fits in your agenda, always verify facts and sources. Facts are always worth more than words. Nowadays we live in a society that no longer prioritizes facts, its all about how people feel, but I think we can all agree that the truth is what is the most important. @ShockPop Please, I beg you, don't make such a crazy statements without anything concrete to back it up, I respect your opinions but it isn't good to spread misinformation Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.

Will u people ever understand that immigrants are not terrorists? That's totally true. But if there are open borders and it takes 2 years to move somebody out of the country, there are gonna be black sheeps between them. I'm just saying this without standing on a particular side. The most widely used is of course English, but around 22% of residents have another mother tongue. The most common other languages you'll hear in the city are Polish, Bengali, Gujurati, French, Urdu and Arabic. The 2011 Census revealed that over 100 languages are spoken in 30 of London's 33 boroughs, meaning that this astonishing diversity is to be found right across the capital. http://www.forbestravelguide.com/london-united-kingdom/what-language-is-spoken-in-london Bring the receipts Honestly, there is nothing that can change their ideas. Like... for example Le Pen stole money and they still justify it and support it because they have common ideas in immigrants and religion And thats why most of them want her as president Like its such a joke

Hun, the only reason I haven't put up a photo of the paragraph from my contract when I was there is that I'll be arrested. I'm giving facts as I was one of the people having to use interpreters. I was in London last January and it was pretty clear what the culture was, and it's not British.

Also calm down, I didn't even attack you. I'm not even dragging a religion, I'm dragging terrorism and radical islam. In this forum if you talk bad against radical islam it makes you racist? Are you guys in favor of radical islam because y'all leaving me confused. I'd add that France cares a lot about secularism. And if you come in France you need to know that the Law is above your religion. You're not forbidden to practice a religion, but you don't have to impose it in some places. It's not just Muslim. In my highscool they would ask to not wear hijab just like they ask you to not wear a cross necklace. That's it. If you're not here to accept the oldest rule of our democracy then maybe your place isn't in France in the first place. And let's face it, "official" statistics always underestimate problems so as not to alarm the public. Not saying your job is a true reflection of London society but usually when it comes to dealing with money, the truth comes out quicker than it does for other things. Walk into Birmingham, Luton, Bradford, Leeds, Halifax, etc and the culture has been taken over and turned into a mini-Islamic-country. It's scary for anyone non-Muslim to go there. They're not welcome, gun and knife crime is rife and their beliefs don't tie in with the country. Fact of the matter is that if you go to a country, you do not take over its cities and turn them into the place you were trying to get away from. It's dumb if nothing else. I also live in a city where Islam is the biggest religion (15% of population) and where approximately half is foreign-born, and there's neighbourhoods you could call a getto here. I'm white, 'native' myself and my great-grandma was born literally 300m away from where I live now. But guess what? I don't really face many problems with muslims. I've never been robbed, never been scolded at, never been attacked, never been raped. Police is not that prominent in the Netherlands (can't do much tbh) and punishment is low, yet I feel safe. Islam really isn't that big of a problem as some are making it out to be. But for the part where it is a problem (because I know many feel that way), I think that a lot can be done with policy that would be just as logical for a left-wing atheist (like Melenchon) as for a xenophobe: influence from Saudi Arabia on european mosques via salafism and wahhabism should be limited and a more moderate islam (like sufism) should be promoted instead. Meanwhile police should be diversified and closer to the people so that there's more social pressure in these neighbourhoods for good behaviour. Income inequality and poverty should be lowered, to lower the incentive for crime and increase the likelihood that poor people climb the social ladder. These are all examples of left-wing policy that will lead to a society less polarised with more security and less terrorism. Migrants will always be poorer with higher crime rates, and the government can't influence that, but they certainly can decrease crime rates and engage 'lost' groups with left-wing policy.
