Yes guys, THE CURE was going to be the first single from the original LG5 that ended up being JOANNE, an album created in a hurry, and for some reason we still do not know why Gaga decided to leave the original pop project.

@OscarCOfficial, journalist of E! News and a person involved in the pop world and the record companies published a tweet on September 27. 2015 that says this: 

This is the first single from #LG5 titled *** **** I just heard it and I gotta say it's gonna kill/rock it tbh..

Since several fans are noticing the existence of this tweet, last April 18 he published a message that says: 

 

Yes guys THE CURE was going to be the first from JOANNE but she decided leave it last

A fan also asked him if then we are going to receive an Ep with the RedOne's discarded songs to which Oscar responded with a yes:

I think this was already posted. I'm glad that she went with joanne, The Cure is too generic for a comeback single IMO and she would have performed it at the super bowl I bet... which would have been a mediocre performance given it's not a dancey or emotional song

The picture is from when she recorded I Want Your Love. "The Cure" is from 2017 or late 2016. You can hear it in her voice.

Yeah I knew that the music she was working on in 2015 with RedOne and DJWS was completely different to how Joanne turned out. I'm guessing she scrapped all the dance-pop stuff in late 2015/early 2016. I'd like her to release an EP of the old LG5 stuff tho

This shouldn't be labeled "news." This should in the "rumor" tag. Who is this guy anyway? If it's not confirmed by gaga, her management, or her collaborators it's not legit. Also this was already posted.

The video was for I Want Your Love, let's be honest, the boping doesn't fit to The Cure.

She would've been one of the first artists to jump on that (ugh) tropical thing.
But I think she wouldn't have gotten a ton of oppertunities without Joanne (SuperBowl, MetalliGa, etc.)

I think she's going to release that original album (re-recorded probably) very soon.

I think we discussed this already and someone pointed about a different reasoning. We'll never know for sure though.
