giskardsb 12,565
The Cure is a bit too sugary pop for my normal taste, but it is kind of nice to hear a sweet love song from Gaga that doesn't overtly mask some lurking negative relationship aspect hiding behind the surface. I hope that means she might have found a good relationship space for a while. I'm also very happy she used natural vocals. It gives the song a sweet intimacy that wouldn't be there if it was all auto-tuned. It really is like a little lullaby she wrote for someone she loved that shes singing next to them laying in bed. Anderson123 38,379
I can't help but think of Second Time Around and that pre-The Fame sweet voice that she used to do, that's why I love it.
calmar 22,064
The imagery of her singing it in bed next to someone has led me to instantly imagine her belting "I WILL BE RIGHT BY YOUR SIDE" unexpectedly into their ear 俺の勝利は揺るぎない

ComeToMama 4,351
What I appreciate is a chorus that explodes. Every recent hook has been that minimalistic low-power 3 note chorus that leads into a 30 second instrumental break. Thats why this song stands out, so idk how it can be compared to justin bieber or chainsmokers or anything right now. Yeah its electronic music, big effing woop, that doesnt automatically make it a replica of everything on radio.

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

If there's a chance of that being in a music video, I need another Andy Cohen cameo. I Wantth your Love...I Wantth your Love.
PMKKARDASHiAN 8,570
OK I'm not arguing, but what about it is 'sugary-pop'?? I get 90s-00s RnB/mariah carey from TC. It sounds like a modern, fresh take on a 90s-00s genre and I love it! Queen of continuing to blend genres Iconic Nutribullet of music

Queen of continuing to blend genres Iconic Nutribullet of music well, I still consider R&B "pop", especially this light form of R&B. But it definitely is an R&B song. I do love me some En Vogue from the 90's tho. "Nutri-bullet of music". love that analogy.
eloyb 92
Well, the song actually talks about someone who's broken. Otherwise why would she need to 'cure him with her love'? IMO the song actually has some lurking negative relationship aspect hiding behind the surface.
