KleinGa 18,177
We always complain about the amount of hate Gaga receives from her own fans when she releases something. The Cure really had some people fuming because it's mainstream. But look at the results of this: The very very VAST majority voted that they loved the song. And a very very small amount of people voted otherwise. What does this say? That those who scream at Gaga are really just a very vocal minority. The rest of her fanbase (the vast majority) are extremely supportive and loving. (Yes, I know you are allowed to dislike, but most who dislike also hate )
Gagz 2,579
The negativity isn't even that loud. It's the people who talk about how much they hate the entire fanbase when one person says something negative who make it worse.

Red 97,985
We are melodramatic, sis, if one person says something slightly bad about Gaga, it suddenly feels like her career is over. If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.
Fernster7 7,922
My only problem with people complaining about the song is that they don't know what the **** they are talking about. The song is not tropical house and just because it's catchy doesn't mean it's generic. Even worse, those saying it's awful and basic but still stanning DIC. Monsters never die. SEANGT 5,294
There's really no reason to hate it. if this is DJ White Shadow like someone said (anyone have a source) it makes sense. He's always producing on trend songs that are bops. Remember Do What U Want? Totally on-trend with that Fancy/iggy bass line. Total bop. THis song stands out with those lyrics, I think they're the best lyrics she has written in years! You all always say she needs to be more relatable, and then she drops this! It's incredible. I really love the message of the song. The vocals are higher than I've heard her in a studio track too. She sounds heavenly. The whole thing is so FRESH I can't stand it. That said, I was disappointed for like 10 minutes after I first heard it because Gaga wasn't totally single-handedly reinventing music lol. Which is really just an incredible expectation that we put on her. But there are so many things to love about this song, I'm addicted!

Even having Gaga as the artist can't save a song from my extreme hatred for that genre and anything that resembles it Spoiler However, it's not generic or trash Gaga always puts out quality music. Always. The Cure may not be my cup of tea per se but it's objectively a good song and deserves to be #1 in 60+ countries. I'm praying it has Million Reasons levels of longevity too Billionaires are a cancer. Even the ones you like.
sass bonbon 430
I think this song is catchy and really good. It's definitely a strategy for lifting her streaming and preparing anything new. As generic as it (does) sound, or as different (from her prior sound) her vocals sound, its gagz. She still wrote this so I'll eat it up. It's a cute lil bop. bbhmm

To be fair, "Dancin in Circles" is better than "The Cure".
