As for Joanne tour, it's not like she will have to cancel it now that the new song is out She performed Born This Way on Monster Ball while working on Born This Way the album. It's obviously just a fun song to release along with her Coachella performance (thus having it catered to that audience). Panchecco 17,634 Posted April 16, 2017 Share Posted April 16, 2017 well I think she might have had this track for a while (at least since before Joanne release) and when she was asked to replace Bey at Coachella, Gaga and her team might have realized that it was a good chance to promote something new and since she had this track with a very 2016/2017 feel and a very Coachella vibe ready, they released it, that's it my guess is that she's gonna treat the song as a buzz single for Coachella and, in case the song becomes a hit, she might promote it this summer after shooting ASIB and before going on the JWT she will eventually perform it on tour as a single so its "Coachella release" wouldn't be pointless I honestly think it's very unlikely that she's planning on releasing an EP (including this single), she's way too busy (and she has been for a while considering all that she's been doing in the past couple of months) and she wouldn't be able to promote it Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
