I honestly think it's refreshing to hear Gaga singing something a little less complex. It seems like nobody is ever happy with Gaga. Everyone complains when there are no radio friendly singles on her albums, and now that we have this cute song, people are complaining left and right calling it trash and basic. But let me say some things: this is something I never expected from her: it sounds A LOT liker her The Fame era unreleased songs (when I saw her performing live, reminded me the vibes of "no way", "nothing on but the radio", "the greatest thing"...) and it's OK if it's just a promo song or something like that. We should worry if this becomes the first single of a brand new album, because it really is TOO generic for her! Even ARTPOP was less radio-friendly and more conceptual than The Cure.
