But I also live in a country with a very strong economy. The facts she hates Merkel and wants Russia, one of the countries with most hate crimes towards and against LGBTQ people, should be alarming. She is sick and wants the power so badly. French people are aware their country is not the dominant one in the Franco-German marriage (i support this axis as the EU engine, btw). Germany is the heart of the EU, and everyone knows that. They're getting stronger and meanwhile France's influence in the Union has aweakened a bit. But anyway, same with Italy, Spain and every other member. It's actually this disbalance between Germany and France that makes France overcompensate. The Euro, for example, was a French suggestion to lower the impact of the German Mark. Media doesn't really say if a country is strong/powerful. If you only watch normal media, you'd think the EU is weak and about to fall apart, though that's not true.
