And none of these are relevant to the issue.

Not true, the TMZ article says the doctor had anger management issues, meaning he could've attacked the officer first. I don't think there were videos of what happened right before he was dragged off the plane.

The witnesses never said a thing about the man fighting back, they are horrified by what the security did to him, and it is clear enough to know that there were no two way brawl. Please don't say things that doesn't exist.

Not surprised to see the same people justifying violence over and over again. It doesn't matter what history the doctor had or didn't have, that could have been any of us that got beat and dragged off a plane for simply booking a seat and wanting to travel.

Anyone who doesn't see the issue with this needs to reevaluate their world view. :smh:

Well, he did delay a flight for two hours and refused to get up when asked multiple times by United staff. Which is when United called in security and he still refused to give up his seat. Did he think by just sitting they were going to fly and everything was going to work out perfectly for him?

Security used way too much force getting him out of his seat which caused him to bust his lip on the armrest which is what caused that bloody situation, but I have a hard time understanding why you don't do what you are told by authorities. Someone was going to have to leave and he was randomly chosen, unfortunately.

Is that even a defense?

He explained that he have patients to tend to and he cannot leave his seats. Why can't they just let them fly and get their employees fly on another flight? United fly 5 times a day from Chicago to Lousiville! Suppose there another of their flights that are not overbooked? Why they had to resort to their own payong passenger?

This is not right and will never be right! This show the arrogance of big companies and this incident will keep every other big companies cautious and in check, and that is a good thing! You don't bite the hands that feeds!!

Mess :air: I kinda feel bad because like probably hundreds if not thousands of people are probably going to lose their jobs because of one mis-hired guy who has anger issues.

Other companies will absorb their business, and in turn need to hire more workers. It's a cycle, so people won't be hit too hard as long as they have experience.

Witness accounts, however, we have.

The least of what United deserves. They're a global giant - they owe a duty of care to their customer. They violently abused him because they made the mistake of over-booking their flight.

Terrible company. Terrible culture. Their CEO is a moron.
