It's because of the policies of the airline and the actions of the CEO afterwards. This is a PR nightmare. As CEO, Apologize! Compensate... Don't double down on the mistake! His response was absolute garbage and I hope he gets fired and someone who can actually do his job gets his place. I don't know, everything has positives and negatives. For example I am glad this happened so that I know never to fly with this company, but I can't help feeling sad for the innocent people who will get laid off. I mean, they surely could've handled the situation better and the apology was garbage, but the main issue (the violence) was done by the officer?
