i'm honestly so down with Maroon 5 performing at the Superbowl next year. their old school songs like Misery and She Will Be Loved is gonna bring nostalgia to tons of people. As long as they don't sing a lot of their new songs :nails:

Why isn't P!nk in the list?

I am not a huge fan but I think Rihanna is the most logical option. I know she doesn't have amazing vocals but you don't need to sing live. Bey didn't and she's still praised so I don't see the difference. Though, I worry they might go with T. Swift because she did things with the NFL and Pepsi this year. It seems like the next step. Especially if she releases a new album this year as speculated. :neyde:

Nicki? No. Never. And, quite frankly, she doesn't deserve the spot. The same can be said about Lana and I like her a lot.

I actually think Marina Diamandis would fit well but she's not relevant in the United States, sadly.

I expect either a rock band or male pop act in 2018, with that said, so I suppose I don't have expectations.

Madonna lip synced the last time, so if Britney can't do it due to miming, Madonna can't either.

But Madonna did pre-recording vocals, not just the album. Britney keeps singing BOMT like it was 1998

¿Qué currículum tiene ésta tarántula?

Britney did do pre-recorded vocals at the BMAs last year, so she'd likely do it again for the Super Bowl for old songs.

I don't know if she even wants to do it. I feel bad about her just doing a Vegas residency knowing her father got the deal and has continued to control her decisions. She's not selling albums the way she used to so it comes off like him and/or management wanting to make a ton of money somehow, some way. I feel bad for her. It's obvious she still enjoys releasing albums but I don't know if it goes past that. If she's interested and can commit to it the way Gaga and Bey did I wouldn't mind.

She's been getting back out there lately. She returned to the VMAs last year and she's doing her first international concerts in years this summer.

Also, in a radio interview she said she'd be willing.

A user mentioned Pink and I think that would be a great choice. I love Rihanna but I don't think she's entertaining enough for all demographics watching SB. She's just gonna walk around and shake her a$$ :awkney:. Plus she hates half of her songs so it'll be interesting to see what songs she chooses
