I'm cackling. You quoted one thing I said and gave me a lecture about generalizing 2 billion muslims while I clearly stated in the same post that I was not speaking about all muslims  It doesn't work like that hun, anyone can simply choose not to quote a whole post and give counterarguments to the sentence they want while ignoring everything else. And how was that a generalization in the first place? 

There's a difference between saying "Not all discriminating muslims are sacrificing their lives but they're very happy other people are doing it." (which is what i said) and "Not all muslims are sacrificing their lives but they're very happy other people are doing it." (Which i didnt say). The first clearly states I was talking ONLY about the muslims who discriminate and side with isis, the second one is a generalization of all muslims and would warrant the response you gave me. One word makes all the difference, and you literally blanked out that word just so you can lecture me about something I didn't even say  and let's suppose that happened, you didn't read everything else I said about not all muslims being the same? Like how

Now I'm utterly confused because while this is extremely true and hostilities are definitely two sided, I have no idea how that is relevant to the subject at hand  it feels like you just randomly threw some cultural facts about religious divisions in lebanon as an additional argument against me as a lebanese christian to try to discredit my point (as if leaving out a chunk of what i said out of your reply wasn't enough).

Here you go, I quoted the whole thing. Hope you are pleased, since you won't necessarily know to which paragraph I'm replying. 

Your first post was clearly generalizing, "The Muslims don't like Pope visiting...", "they did this to send message", nowhere in THAT post was any sort of clarification of what you meant and you defended that in next post. 

So you meant to say "Muslims who discriminate don't like Pope(?)" [1. how are they sending any message if they had nothing to do with bombing?; 2. there's big difference between disliking someone and wishing death upon someone + supporting terrorism] and then you gave me a lecture and examples of hate in your country (which is not Egypt and you hate when others put all ME countries to one box) about those who support ISIS and about the hostilities between religious groups. I'm telling you I am aware, I know about them and I know about the history. Btw don't call me hun, you're a lot younger than me and we are not friends or close in any way. I don't appreciate that. 

Since I won't split the post per request,  the "where did I say that?" comments are funny, just re-read what you wrote and what I quoted. I find interesting the groups you created and examples of what you consider to be moderate and peaceful, that's all. Yes there are terrorists and terrorist supporters, we all know that, but that's not what you wrote in first place. Your wording implied something totally different.

I agree with her that saying "The Muslims don't like the Pope visiting" and "They did this" was phrased unfotunately at least, but after you clarified what you meant she shouldn't have went on to lecture you about things you didn't mean to say
