The truth is Metallica does very few collaborations if any. We were lucky to get what we got. Lady Gaga too. So this was just two stars crossing paths once in a lifetime in the night sky. I am happy it happened and love them both for being open to do it once.

Agreed. Like I said above, if there were no technical difficulties I would have been more than content and happy with the performance. Unfortunately...

I love how she's always the exception of the rule. They've talked about how natural the collab got to be, and it's the same when Gaga made C2C. Even if they wouldn't collab again, there was a great moment and an exchange of talent.

That doesn't happen with every act out there. Most of the times, you see pop stars making features with other pop stars or random rappers. But I love how Gaga collabs tend to be more genuine.

Queen of genuine collabs

Korn is the sound of heaven, in the form of countless tracks. My childhood.

I'd really like to see a Slipknot & Lady Gaga studio rendition of one of the band's classics.

And I have no interest in her collaborating with them. So its a win-win situation I guess?:tony:

Why did you change the we with I? You speak for others and you certainly speak for me. Metallica is great, but they're not the be-all and end-all of metal. She doesn't to collaborate with them or any other metal band. She can stand on her own two feet.

i see the pathetic gay power bottoms are making everything a big s**t out of it as long as someone says he/she has no interest in collaborating gaga even though he/she states the reason clear in a very respectful way and shows his/her admiration towards her

speaking of projects w/ the metal scene, well at least we kinda have a collab w/ Marilyn Manson... i want more tho

He/or she speaks for me, and I'm sure for others in this fan base, as well. You're always welcome to speak for yourself. Metallica is a great band, but they're not the be-all and end-all of metal when it comes to quality of the genre. There are more talented bands out there than Metallica, believe it or not. Gaga doesn't need to collaborate with them, or any other metal band. She can stand on her own two feet.

You are all overeacting like always.

He didn't shade her or anything, on the contrary he said he loved that collaboration. It was one time thing and he's fine with it.

No shade detected. Moving on.
Plus I agree with him. I have no interest in heavy metal music or the idea of Gaga making music of such genre.

This doesn't sound very nice :rip: Well I'm glad that he had a good experience with Gaga and likes her. He doesn't want to collaborate with any pop person so it's not a big deal, they did what they had to do and they enjoyed it  It's unfortunate that they literally had to be forced into collaborating though, I thought it came from a more organic place :noparty:

It doesn't seem as if many people here were jonesing for a collab judging by the negative reactions here. :rip:

It's clear Lars wants to collab, but honestly I'm not really holding my breath. Overall, I hope if she ever truly goes in a metal direction for an album, I hope it's something more melodic. I feel like a lot of lyrics get lost in the instrumentation in that type of thrash metal overall. I"m sure a lot of metal heads would disagree with me, but it's just my own personal preference.

Well, at least they (or actually Lars) got to pick the person they wanted to collab with.

Im glad he did but he did not speak for me nor for others. You can't tell me to speak for myself when I never claimed all monsters wanted that collaboration and if you read my other responses, I never said Metallica was the sole requirement for Gaga.

I would rather Gaga spend the time in some acting gig.

Of course you do Bradley

The Grammys do this to nearly everyone. Most of Gaga'a presentations are collabs (Elton John, Tony Bennett) and they usually only allow the biggest names to perform alone (BTW Gaga was in her commercial peak).
