If we liked it will this post exist?  Gaga and btw preached acceptance and openness not blindness to truth! No one wants to kill her for the hair they are just saying they don't like it and how it will look better if it was done in a particular way. I accept that Madonna is the queen of pop but I don't think she is talented enough (opinion)

So she transitioned to blonde hair and had a lovely platinum look for Chained to the Rhythm, but decided to chop it all off and darken it for this look? 

Why? 

I must admit that she suits the style but it ages her. The colour is nice but should have kept it longer.

After saying all that though I think it's great to try out new looks. It just baffles me how people can willingly choose to go from looking hot to not.

You are right. 

But I think the reason artists get criticism from fans, (not including the gp because the gp can be judgemental about everything), is because we get attached to a look and a style. For example when gaga changes her face it makes me feel like I'm looking at a stranger and it's not the Gaga I know and recognise. When my boyfriend shaves his beard off I'm like "who are you? Don't touch me". When I see Katy Perry looking different I'm like "who is this imposter?" And I think it's the same for others. Although some people love to be harsh because it makes them feel good to be mean. They are toxic people.

What site have you been on? The majority of GGD is perennially judgmental - even more so about their own fave. Thus is the nature of a pop forum. Throwing shade about an unflattering haircut on a pop star is very low on the list of lows committed here (thinking Gaga is lying about rape, bragging about voting for Donald Trump, typing "slay" at Azealia Banks murder of chickens, ...the list goes on and on).

She's waited to long for a promo songle. CTTR will become what Focus is to Ariana Grande's latest album. She will probably wait another 2 months, release a summer song and try to play it off as the true lead single to her album. 

And tbh I don't think she looks 40 either, but come on....THIS is the person people are supposed to be stanning for. She literally looks like a run on the mill singer, and not someone who is supposedly the most followed person on twitter, has multiple top 10 hits and millions of album sales. Like this is a decent look for someone like Dua Lipa, not someone who is praised by so many people as Katy Perry is.
