Out of 10, what's the probability of a war starting because of this? 0 because the European Union will stay impartial. Our leaders won't support the USA or Russia. windzo 811
I feel conflicted about this In one hand I'm glad something is being done aboutthe chemical attack. On the other this could lead to some very dangerous consequences. I guess i'll have to wait and see how this plays out. I hope for the best.

I don't think any civilians were killed in this attack because it hit an airbase, not a village And Pearl Harbor was just a Naval base? MelbHawker 6,583
I think Trump acted in haste - and I think in this situation; he'd be damned if he did and damned if he didn't do something. What I believe is causing most of the tension is the uncertainty as to who was behind the chemical weapons attack on the Syrian people. It's currently a he-did, she-did sort of blaming game depending on your stance on the Assad Government. It's not absolute that Assad attacked his own people (although I believe he did). Washington and Moscow are not friends anymore, and that's a scary though considering both countries power. I'm glad Trump acted quickly and targeted the base where the chemical weapons were being held. Unfortunately his strike will not solve any issue or bring safety to those living in Syria - Assad needs to be removed, and quickly. It's also interesting to see all these articles surfacing re: US Strikes in Israel last month which allegedly killed around 200 innocent people. I'm disgusted at these reports if true. Do you realise the consequences this could have? This is how wars start, the Trump support on this site is actually disgusting The US has been striking in the Middle East for years - how is this strike in Syria any different? What, because Syria is currently a hot topic in Western Media? We are living in wartime, how could you be so ignorant in not realising this?

What i don't understand is how all of you SJW's can denounce this attack so hard without providing any other solutions? Do you seriously think Assad will just step down if Trump tells him to step down or something? It's not as simple as that... Sometimes military action is necessary to prevent further wrongdoings, especially against innocent civilians and children.
