An angry tweet directed at Pepsi and lots of capital letters. The solution to the problems that are being misrepresented in the commercial itself? *everyone draws a blank*. It's just human nature Personally, I think it's half dumb half cute. I appreciate that it's not just another empty ad with a sexy couple drinking in the hot tub or something but I do realize it's not doing the best job at being realistic. But why would it be? It's an advertisement. They're not going to put out a depressing and scary ad, that'll just drive people away from their product Ā It's a nice surface level thing that people are really giving way too much attention to if you ask me. As usual, the internet community just isn't realistic nor does it have its priorities straightĀ Ā Hide contents That's not to speak ill of anyone here that finds it offensive. You're entitled to your opinions just as I am. I'm just speaking generally is all. Ā That's EXACTLY what I'm thinking.
Ezeex 7
Apparently, they removed it OMGĀ āPepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding. Clearly, we missed the mark, and we apologize,ā the brand reportedly said in a statement.

junolxf 8,654
Social resistance (especially during times as troubling as now) does not need corporate sponsorship. The whole 'protest is the new brunch' thing is SO degregading to the intent process and POWER of protests themselves and it deslegitimizes the purpose of them.Ā Protesting is not meant to be a trend it's meant to be a constitutionally protected response to overreach/injustice.Ā Pepsi was dead ass wrong trying to capitalize on that and they're right for removing the ad. It sometime looks like this ad is worse than Trump becoming president. There were over 70.000 tweets this morning and it was 4th or 5th trending in Germany Yeah, I get what you mean. It's an ugly commercial, but definitely not as bad as Drumpf doing... literally anything. 3 hours ago, IndieKylie said: Exactly, this is something you either fully commit to, or don't touch. Pepsi wanted the best of both worlds and it backfired.Ā yup yup yup 3 points in and ready for more
