They filmed the music video today on a Hollywood set, and will feature many drag queens and also will include LGBT and feminist influences! Courtney Act, Willam and Alaska 5000 will also be featured, and the secret got let out when Courtney Act had the song playing whilst she was on set! Where's the third lol I know they were pushing for No More Sad Songs but I thought that now Power will be chosen instead which for me is a perfect single choice. Videos are filmed weeks, often months in advance. They've been sitting on the No More Sad Songs video since early March. They are simply making the most of their time in America by scheduling to work with directors and talent while they're already in the country. Most videos are filmed in LA, why not do it while they're there anyways? This era isn't messy. They saw the the US audience was more into Touch than Shoutout To My Ex, so they put out a remix of Touch and sent it to American radio stations. Touch had already peaked in the UK so they sent out NMSS there. NMSS is still the UK single, and my guess is it will never be sent to American radio as Touch still hasn't taken off. They'll return to the UK/Europe/Aus/Asia with their current single, NMSS, wait to release Power, and forget about America until next album cycle. Pretty simple really. "No More Sad Songs" like failed on UK charts compared to their other songs, unless it can rebound. It makes sense, i like most of their songs but this one is just like...no. not enough power (no pun intended). Power seems like a good single choice.
