Hes gonna run big deficits and increase infrastructure

That should boost the economy short term to last till 2020. Even an idiot can boost the economy by overspending

As for the financial suicide hes building with it, Hopefully people will recognize the simmilar patterns to Japan and Greece

I'd be shocked if his infrastructure proposals actually passed

Well we will see. His party does dominate the house

Anyway my point is if his agendas pass, the economy should improve...

The problem is it wont be sustainable

Also hes betting big on energy. A sector that short term may give a bug boost but oil future 20 years from now is so uncertain

Yes small businesses only. We are suffering so much, 37% is way too much, my whole family is affected by it.

I am totally for tax cuts for small businesses. May I ask what sort of business you're in?

Just seems to me that we live in an era of Big Business and name recognition, where the Big Businesses benefit from their elevated brands and influence and stomp out all other competition. Broadband industry, for instance... when are those monopolies going to be dealt with so that smaller companies have a fighting chance? Companies like Comcast and Verizon are totally favored by our politicians. They have paid no taxes in past years, actually.

Mitch McConnell does not want a trillion dollar stimulus, he's said so.

Now of course, on infrastructure, the democrats may support him, so he may be able to lose some republicans but I don't know if the Dems gained will be enough to compensate.

Small businesses in America do need tax cuts

Its important not to go crazy on the idea of increasing taxes on corporations too much tho

Dont forget peoples retirement depends on the performance of these companies which are owned by average joes also.

In addition higher tax costs would innevitably be passed on to consumers so it would really be us paying it

Dont forget, not every Corporation performs like Apple, Or Mcdonalds or whatever names people often think of that are the standouts

As an investor that tracks Corporations, I can tell you that profit margins of only 2% to 5% are not uncommon at all

Oh I agree with him on that as well, I think infrastructure spending is a great idea, I'm just skeptical it will pass with the deficit hawks in the legislative branch.

Isn't it crazy how we were once so scared to impeach Trump because of Pence, but now Pence has become the lesser of two evils and some of us are literally praying she becomes our president so we don't have to deal with Trump and its recklessness :wtf:

"The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."

From ARTICLE II, SECTION 4 of the US Constitution.

If anything convicting Trump gets him removed, the VP goes as well.

Stand in the light, cast your shadow.

MACATL

Exactly.  If Trump is impeached based on collusion with Russia to tilt the election, then the election is illegitimate, and Pence, nor any of Trump's appointees are legitimate because they weren't fairly elected. Impeach his ass.   Then throw him in federal prison.

I actually didn't know this, I just always thought "why wouldn't Pence go too :gum:"

Who does civil officers refer to specifically? Cabinet members? or...

Because the line of succession from Paul Ryan down is garbage (especially Ryan himself; he's shown himself to be a snake that doesn't believe all Americans should be treated equal on numerous occassions :madge: )

As for the financial suicide hes building with it, Hopefully people will recognize the simmilar patterns to Japan and Greece :sis:

But isn't Japan's financial suicide based upon the fact they became an isolationist nation whose technology evolved differently from the rest of the world's?

I'm not sure about Greece's economic fall.

But I can see America becoming an isolationist nation if we keep the giant mangled mango skin in.
