A million reasons, one given on Twitter every hour (including at night) of every day, would take Gaga 114 years.

Adele is amazing live...

Pink, Christina Aguilera, and so on (I could give a huge amount of exemple of great vocalists who released smash ballads)

But both Christina Aguilera and P!nk's last ballad hits were quite a long time ago. Christina's last big ballad was almost 4 years ago (Say Something), P!nk's last traditional ballad single was almost 15 years ago (Family Potrait) and the latest Mid-Tempo/Power ballad she put out was also 4 years ago.

They're just referring to how in general mainstream pop music big vocals weren't a thing anymore letely (except for the obvious outlier Adele), and they're asking if an artist less commercially successful than Adele hitting it big with dramatic ballad, signifies a shift of trends.

Hello? Love On The Brain? Dangerous Woman? And I'm just naming a few of her peers, there is a whole new level of "vocalist" music in the indie/less known artists scene. What is this?  Powerful vocals have always been present in the music industry.

If they're talking about her vocal evolution, they're still wrong, Speechless? You and I? EOG? MTN? CTC?

This ..... and add ADELE in the mix
