Miel 15,009
Father John Misty is gonna be there! C'mon, Gagi! If she was there, she could have easily pulled up her girlfriend Florence and done a complete Joanne run-through. 3 points in and ready for more

But after seeing the lineup (Foo fighters and Clean Bandit aside) there's not really anybody that I am interested in. This is my first time too. Wondering if paying £250 for a ticket is justified. Do I go for the experience alone?!? The stages are a minor part of Glastonbury. My first was 2009 and i knew barely anyone. It's a cultural awakening seriously. Dominic 11,922
I prefer V to Glastonbury because it's not as big but I'm tempted to go. RAMROD 109,724
I mean, who cares about Katy when you have Foo Fighters, Goldfrapp, and Radiohead on the list? Seriously!?! I mean, nobody will ever say they'd go to Glastonbury to see Katy Perry and not becoming joke material between people who attending there lmao Even if you did go there for her, just pretend and tell them folks you were there for Lorde or HAIM or Solange at least, this is not a drill, just know what kind of image KP build for herself, she probably will have some gimmicky things going on just to steal her thunder again just like it does to her Superbowl lmao (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ dancin' until i'm dead (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡

LMFAO, stop exaggerating. The UK doesn't adore her. Not everyone there likes her. And Gaga is far more relevant than Katy is there right now, always have been, and always will be. Gaga is adored in the UK. I know this because I have a couple of friends in the UK.

StrawberryBlond 14,890
Wow, what on earth has she done to warrant this amazing opportunity? Her last UK #1 was Roar. It's only acceptable to have a pop act like her at Glasto if they're crazy successful at the moment and she is not. CTTR is her first lead single that failed to go #1 in the UK and she's still not recovered from that awful XF performance here 3 years ago (so many people said they regretted buying Prism tickets after that). This is the worst possible time for her to do Glasto. Her fanbase isn't what it used to be and she's far too bubblegum and artificial for a Glasto crowd to take her remotely seriously. Any non-rock acts who are put on the Glasto stage are always criticised but the likes of Beyonce and Gaga actually stand a chance of being respected. Katy is the kind of act that would draw boos because her music and approach to music goes against everything that Glasto stands for. Even if she does an acoustic set, she stands no chance because she'll still do bad vocals and no one will recognise her acoustic songs anyway because her acoustic songs aren't big hits. Whatever happens, though, this will be interesting. If she messes up, the UK will never let her hear the end of it. 8 hours ago, Gaga Goddess said: This is huge in terms of her UK sales, if she's a hit at Glastonbury she's bound to have a hit album & successful singles over here. I commend her tbh, I wish Gaga would've done this sort of thing, her star power is fading over here If she's a hit. But she won't be. She'll screw up the vocals, like she always does. You can't rely on Katy Perry to give a good vocal performance when it matters. The only big event she ever did where her vocals were actually acceptable was at the SB but she could have been having heavy playback. She hasn't done one good vocal of CTTR live yet. I don't count on her to smash it here either. Gaga probably would have done it if she didn't already get so many other opportunities recently. Her time will come but just not right now, it would all be too much at once. 8 hours ago, Gaga Goddess said: The UK adores her, she's far more relevant than Gaga over here at this point in time sadly. We do not adore her. The closest we've ever come to adoring her is in her TD era, that's it. Her singles have done quite well, her albums, not so much. And most of her concert goers were very young and have parents accompanying them or likely got tickets bought for them by family who thought it would be a fun, kid-friendly night out because Prism was Katy's most kid-appropriate album to date. But her fanbase is clearly outgrowing her, as her recent chart performance shows.
