That has to bite, even if she gives a resilient attitude about it. Lady Palutena 3,147
I like that picture of her, serving me blonde queen realness. Also, the Madonna shade, I'm cackling Adoremus in caelum, Palutena. Dea luminis.

That J 12,166
This thread is everything!!! I never really thought about the complications of arthritis that could come from a hip issue, hip surgery, etc. That really puts things in perspective and I hate she will probably always deal with these issues. My hope is it doesn't grow. There was a very famous, very gorgeous actress of the 80's/early 90's named Kathleen Turner. She was fire! She got early RA and went on medications, had to stop acting, she would use alcohol to help the pain, her whole body became swollen, weight gains, etc etc. She's hardly recognizable now. It's fascinating seeing what certain afflictions can do! Im glad Gaga is Uber aware of her pain and such so she can stay on top of it to, hopefully, prevent or hold off further complications. But that cover is eternally funny regardless. The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than The Driver Of The Screw

RA is an autoimmune disorder that occurs when your immune system mistakenly attacks your own body's tissues. It is a chronic condition that can damage a wide variety of body systems, including the skin, eyes, lungs, heart and blood vessels. 1 hour ago, Katie14 said: RA is different from regular arthritis. And since it is some kind of autoimmune disease, would it have anything to do with her having tested positive for borderline lupus even though she wasn't diagnosed with its symptoms? Do your own research.

She most likely had a positive ana test, which is a test for autoimmune disorders. But you don't get diagnosed with lupus or other autoimmune disorders unless you have a certain set of symptoms and test positive. That's probably why she was borderline. For RA there is an additional test, called ra or rh factor. But the symptoms of all the different autoimmune disorders can be very similar to each other. A lot of people get misdiagnosed. Also, some of the risk factors for every autoimmune disorder is the same ie stress, genetic predisposition.
Katie14 4,828
I sent an email to the company asking if the RA quote is hers. This is their number if anyone wants to call. I'm too shy. 800 422 4112 Edit: They got back to me! My email: Hello, Someone posted the cover of the spring issue online and Lady Gaga is photographed with two quotes. The one under her picture is definitely from her but the other quote about RA to the left is ambiguous. It says, " I fought RA pain with my passion". I am wondering if the latter quote is hers as well. Thank you. Response: Thanks for your question. The latter quote is not hers—it simply sums up her overall spirit. Hope that helps. Seems interesting story if she about to share her experience with the injury and how she cope with it after. Cos I know that once you break your bones, it can never totally healed. It will still feel painful some time. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ dancin' until i'm dead (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡

Didn't she say something about being positive to Lupus a few years ago?
