I get the poetic justice in that, and the sense of gratification for her and her supporters would be significantly heightened. I just don't see the electorate that voted for Trump in the Rust Belt suddenly flipping and wanting an establishment candidate (especially Clinton, who they view as the quintessential establishment politician). For that reason alone, a third campaign would be disastrous. I'm so torn on Clinton. Part of me knows she would be such a fantastic president and wants to look past all that I dislike about her, especially given the 2 months of Trump we've had, but the other part of me feels that we're settling on her and that there's better candidates out there. If 2016 taught us anything, it's that Americans really hate Hillary. She received three million more votes than the person in office...America doesn't hate Hillary. The Republicans hate her. Also, women and especially minority women are inspired by what she has accomplished over the decades and the fact that she is a tough ass who doesn't give up. She doesn't have to be "the leader", we can have multiple leaders and people who inspire us to keep up the resistance and stand for what is right.
