[#13] Too Much
[Score] 6.96

[Highs] @littlemonsterL5 11, @Blake 11
[Lows] @ARTPOPe 0, @Antonio 0

[My remarks] This was an absolute shock. For the most part, this track garnered enough high scores and mid-to-high, that at one point I believe it would've been in the Top 5. Unfortunately, not many were impressed by it, and it missed out on the Top 10 by not a substantial amount, but just enough to set it at the bottom of the barrel. I gave it a steady 8.

Again, one of the strongest tracks of the album. The pre-chorus is pulsating, leading to an explosive chorus. The post-chorus perfect descends the song to its next verse. A song that makes you want move and just really makes me happy?

@petedagrk (9)
Aphrodite feels alot like X, instrumental wise, but Aphrodite is better.  The verses, chorus, both are good.

@Dr Evil (9)
Another electro-pop floorfiller which is Kylie's signature sound. I'm really digging this.

Calvin Harris and Kylie, together again!! It's not as classic as "In My Arms" but it's miles better than "Heart Beat Rock." Love playing this one LOUD in the car and singing along. That classic Calvin synth line just makes me come alive!

An energetic Bop I still appreciate with every listen. It’s the cute and bubbly Kylie from Body Language Era mixing in with Light Year.

@takemetovenus (6)
it's good but kinda falls flat in some ways

@CowSiss (4)
Calvin should've kept this one to give to Taylor to sabotage her career

[#12] Go Hard or Go Home
[Score] 7.17

[Highs] @Taka 10, @Peto 10

[My remarks] This was, by far, my least favorite of the bonus tracks. Many seemed to agree, but an equal amount of people were getting their LIVES to this track. It scores my lowest rate for this entire shindig, which was a 5. With repeated listens, it's a grower, but still - not as immediate as the rest of this flawless album.

The best song of the bonus tracks. A great mix of acoustic and pop production. The chorus is more upbeat, but not overpowering. I could easily see this on the standard edition, and perhaps it would be better than some of the more forgettable songs...

@takemetovenus (8)
love the guitar and the percussion and the vocals :music: The "aye"'s during the pre-chorus give me life

@VOLANTIS (8)
Understandable why it wouldn’t make the final cut. But it’s cute nevertheless. Reminds me so much of “Giving you up”

@Gia Gunn (8)
After listening to the final bonus track I can say that I prefer the standard edition of Aphrodite, I'm sorry :madge:

@Dr Evil (7)
Gotta admit it's too good for a b-side. Very catchy.

@CowSiss (5)
A precursor to what Kylie will and has become. It's an okay club bop, but it lacks substance. It's so empty and inauthentic, and definitely does not fit the Aphrodite theme. What makes Aphrodite so great is that it is ethereal, heavenly, otherworldly. She recognizes it's own greatness and uses it to her advantage, which is great and all until you use that theme to actually treat yourself as some goddess fallen from the heavens, i.e. what has resulted since the great album BEYONCÉ but that's another discussion altogether
