Rihanna had multiple #1 hits before them and it is much more commercial. DIC's chorus is way too creepy and weird. No one wants to hear about women rubbing on the radio, especially women in the car, it will make them feel uncomfortable especially with kids in the car. I mean just because she makes music the way she wants (collab or not) doesn't mean it's about ego. She just doesn't seem to enjoy it if it's not organic which is totally fine.
