Anyways, it's very possible for MR to end up outselling DWUW which is really impressive considering the sales decline between 2013 and now and MR's treatment from radio.

Speaking of radio.

MR hopefully getting Top 20 on Adult Contemporary Songs on the radio week ending Sunday

#6 on Adult Pop Songs

Can you guys shut up with the third single debate and stop acting like you have a working crystal ball at home :awkney: It was cute at first but sweaties...

OT: Nice to see MR stable on iTunes. Not sure how to feel about radio plays today. I know that we shouldn't only focus on big stations but I feel like they'll follow the trend just like they did when it was on power rotation on Z100

Kinda hoping HAC and push Gaga to 75M+ AI.

Tomorrow's POP update is going to be so tragic. :smh:

Just saw Take That cover, quite great.

Any effects on the UK?

I also wonder about what they have planned for a third single (if they're planning for it). It'd be smart to release it around the time when she does Coachella, given the fact that she'll face exposure. They better have a few promo spots ready and do everything possible to avoid the G.U.Y. of this album too :rip:

I mean, MR was the only potential real hit on the album anyway and its doing very well sales wise and with radio now (considering it's a ballad not by Adele.) If whatever comes next goes Top 20 on pop and can go gold, I'll take it.

it's more important to me that it gets a nice visual and that the tour goes 125M+

Whatever she releases it won't smash. The album just doesn't have a smash, let's face it.

She really does need a smash tho. She seems so hungry for mainstream success lately. Surely she has something up her sleeve.

With ASIB it would be a shame if she let all this post-SB potential go to waste.

Agreed. If she keeps a bad radio presence it'll just be hard for future songs to get any attention. MR would've done better had it not followed a flop lead and a bad era.

Her next single is going to struggle hard, because unfortunately MR didn't become massive enough to secure a successful third single.

Rihanna can release songs about sex and ballads and drugs because she has a great relationship with the radio.

Sure Gaga has a nice little niche going for her being seen as a "talent" and "individual" but her music isn't heavily on the radio. And ultimately, being played is how she will solidify her legacy.

BYE

You can list as many pointers as you want, at the end of the day DiC has that house sound radios are currently spinning hard. If you want Gaga to have a real shot at getting ANOTHER ( :sis: ) hit single this era, you should encourage ha to release DiC, not A-YO. Look at MR's call out scores on Top 40. Imagine A-YO's.

K. bye.

Joanne is the only song that has some potential as a single since HAC & AC would probably support it. So maybe it could at least get a 35M radio peak audience or something cute like that :poot:

But of course we do need a fun single between MR & Joanne so A-Yo or DIC should follow. I honestly feel like DIC would at least do a little something on streaming where as A-Yo would probably stay stagnant and do very little on both streaming and radio.

But I digress...we have been debating this third single like crazy and honestly we will probably get an announcement by Coachella week or something so let's just be patient.
