Now that 1D has broken up, the 1D fandom will have to choose a favorite to support (and let's face it, girls like to focus on just one artist). Well Harry had most of the control over their sonic vision than the other members from MM onward, but SYCO wouldn't let them go too far with it sounding like Rock music and Harry's always loved rock music especially Classic and Indie Rock so that's the direction he's going in. It took all his effort to have SYCO allow them do MITAM as a more indie influenced record despite Ed Sheeran's sound popularity and the positive reception Little Things got. Trust me he may not end up being successful and popular, but I'm sure he'll deliver good quality Rock/Indie music. He's working with Jeff Bhasker after all.
