Because you said "for all we know he could be child of immigrants" and in a way justified anti-refugee sentiment.

He's a Briton and not child of Muslim immigrants.

That is not at all what I was saying. My point was that the attacker being Briton born will not stop others from using the attack to spur anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim sentiment. 

If you read my post, rather than quoting a fraction of it to take my words out of context, you'd know that. 

What I actually said: 

"Just because the attacker was British-born does not mean it won't continue to stir anti-immigration sentiment and fears. For all we know, the attacker was the child of immigrants or British-born and influenced by ISIS. The possibilities are endless for this to be made into an issue on immigration, Islam, refugees etc..."

I was just giving you an update on who he actually was. 

They called him an Asian; a Pakistani because of the name, it turns out, it was not his real name and he wasn't child of Muslim immigrants. 

They will of course continue to hate, but they can't go against these facts and you can see it bothers them he wasn't a refugee or illegal immigrant.

That's fine, I just don't want my words to be taken, manipulated, or misrepresented. I'm very much against the xenophobic culture these days (and really don't want to portrayed as otherwise, cause the issue is very important to me) and clearly my point still stands: he wasn't an immigrant, but they wanted him to be to further the fear. While they can't deny his background, they'll still find a way to blame immigrants I'm sure.
