I'm sorry to those who love it but I find Everyday to be such an eye rolling single and I wouldn't be 100% surprised if it flops

Everyday may have underperformed but it's still like the last single of the era so there was never much hype for it anyway.

I just kind thought that "Side to Side" success would restart the era in a way. It would become the lead single and Everyday would act as the second. I mean, Everyday isn't a bad song. It one of the top five on the album in my opinion.

I think Side to Side is a good example of how it's public reaction to a song that will make it a true hit, not necessarily promo. Side to Side grew on the charts and pretty much became a hit before getting major promo on award shows and stuff, purely from people liking it.  I agree that Everyday is really good, it should've been a hit too, but maybe the Arianna hype is just burning out after she's released so many consecutive singles. Best song on the album IMO is Thinking About You though

Did not even know Calvin Harris had a new song out :awkney:

Not a single club played any Calvin songs all week :awkney:

A producer/DJ of his calibre sees fast results, so it's worrying.

Meghan straight up flopped though, like pray for her fanbase, girl is destined for the B List :ladyhaha:

Lorde is very music not the bling, and Green Light is a masterpiece, of course it'll underperform. She was gone for too long I believe, and the hype and PR could have been better, but I'm sure it'll climb, albeit not by much.

Life ain't Hollywood for any one of us.

That, and Into You, are so good imo. Like, pure plain pop greatness.

I have never heard of these options:

Slide - Calvin Harris (feat. Frank Ocean Migos)

One of the BEST releases this year by far. I highly recommending listening to it. I've had it at the top of my playlist for weeks

This song literally hasn't charted anywhere. It's the biggest flop in a while from a major artist.

don't drag PI down to this level. PI was a Top 20 hit, and charted around the world, which this flop didn't

this is a focus on the US, and underperformance doesn't mean flop

I'm going with that Meghan song since I didn't even know it existed.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.
