President Obama was still in his first term and on the campaign trail Gaga was on her Born This Way Ball Tour Lana Del Rey had just released Paradise The GP had no idea who Macklemore, Lorde, and Iggy Azalea were Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez had just broken up for the first time The Perks of Being a Wall Flower, Skyfall and Les Miserables had just come out in theaters. The Voice (now in its 12th season) was only in its 3rd season Britney Spears was a judge on X Factor Kim Kardashian was pregnant with North West 30 Rock was still on the air basically, its been too long ladies... Ooolong 4,440 Posted March 14, 2017 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Christina's album was in the mixing stage last month, so we have something to keep our hopes on. There hasn't been any rumors or speculation afloat about her filming anything or doing any photo-shoots though, so it could still be a while. Recent photos show she's slimmed down quite a bit, so that's exciting. She's far more comfortable onstage when she's thinner. I'm not sure what direction she's going for but I'm hoping for the best, obviously. People are still going with the 'caviar ratchet' description and most of her producers for this album were hip hop and urban producers. She actually worked with quite a few of Bey and Nicki's producers. Although who knows, because "Change" was apparently a scrapped song from the album, which was cute for charity but not for an album. The album has been in the works for nearly three years too, so Change could've been one of the earlier songs before she settled on a direction. Maybe we can expect another Gaga collab, seeing as how Christian is Xtina's talent manager and they were both at his birthday party.
