juju 18,907
Vespertine all the way; it's so ethereal and really drags you into another world. Although I equally love Medulla (it was my first) and then Volta (the first album release I experienced as a stan). Debut, Post, and Homogenic are all stellar. I still haven't heard Biophilia or Vulnicura at all, though. Don't know why, but the bits I heard pre-release just didn't speak to me. What are the best songs for me to listen too, considering I like her previous albums so much? I'm sort of intrigued but I don't want to start listening to them until I hear some highlights. ❤ x ❤

I mean Jóga, Bachelorette, AIFOL, Unravel, Alarm Call, are among her most well known songs. Medùlla is way way more experimental and some songs can be kinda off putting at a first listen. (I'm so glad you mentioned Pluto cause it's probably one of my favorite Bjork songs <3) Biiitch same hereeee, it's one of my all time fave songs (that song actually helps me with anxiety a lot)

Biophilia (Highlights: Mutual Core, Crystalline, Cosmogony), as for Vulnicura you'll really have to listen to the album in full experience. I advise you to read the lyrics while you're listening to it, that's what I did and ended up crying because that album is about the divorce with her husband, the same husband that she wrote most of Vespertine for of how much she loved him (Pagan Poetry). Crytstalline, Cosmonogy, and Mutual Core are highlights. From Vulnicura it's more like a whole piece there aren't really stand out songs for me but I absolutely love it. Stonemilker wrenches at the guts and it's perfect so I chose Vulnicura. Post, Homogenic, and Volta are my other faves.
