Swan Heart 7,382
Vespertine is an absolute masterpiece. They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

Because of the concept surrounding it, and the lack of any real instruments, she tried to make sure that some of the songs contained the absolute CATCHIEST pop melodies of her entire career. "Triumph of a Heart", "Who Is It?", "Oceania", "Mouth's Cradle"... it is absolutely fantastic and I honestly would consider it the second album for anyone just getting into her (Post would be the first, I'd say). Biophilia was quite a challenge indeed. I couldn't get myself into the aesthetic as well. The wardrobe was pretty much the highlight of that era for me. I truly tried to get myself lost in it but I never found the spark to ignite my curiosity to support it.

Definitely No. 2 after the three I mentioned above. Volta has to be her worst album, though. Definitely a downgrade from all her other albums, but it's cute not gonna lie 22 minutes ago, MetalliGa said: You missed the soundtrack album to Dancer In The Dark Queen Selmasongs is shook. Medúlla and Biophilia are on the same level of authenticity. Biophilia is divine, celestial, and ethereal. Medúlla is native, raw, and like beginning of humanity type of thing. Like I can really see so many similarities. For example, Ancestors and Dark Matter. I’m getting on your nerves
