Anyway whatever you do DO NOT start with Medùlla. That album is super experimental and has some really crazy sh*t (but I like it nonetheless) The only girl I've ever loved was born with roses in her eyes
Pluto 776
I think Post is my favourite. It's not her best as a whole but it's my personal favourite. anybody knows you can conjure anything by the dark of the moon
Cuntyanne 100
Björk is my all time favourite musician. IMO, Post is my fave album. I was blessed to experience the promo from this smash masterpiece. Words cannot express how much exposure and popularity she garnered during this era. This album has a mixture of genres engineered to perfection. From the music videos to her inspiring interviews and pop-fashion personality, she broke into the pop scene around other prestigious pop queens such as Mariah Carey, Gwen (No Doubt), Alanis Morissette to name a few, and made it her own genre. Björk was EVERYWHERE. Strong melodies, enchanting ballads and unforgettable driving beats with the help of Tricky, Nellee Hooper, Howie B and Graham Massey. If I forgot anyone forgive me. Post's music videos were so ahead of their time from the talents of Michel Gondry, Spike Jonze, and Stéphane Sednaoui to name a few. I could go on and on about Post but I suggest you all to listen to this album in chronological order, start to finish and experience the carefully placed divine order of these gems how they are presented. It not only sounds right but most importantly, feels right.

To me, her real body of work starts with Debut.

I mean, if it's not your thing, just don't push it. I personally voted for Homogenic, if that's any use for you.
