Beautiful song about finding the strength in love to carry on, even when the obstacles in your path start to seem too difficult to overcome. Perfect song to listen to when having an introspective moment. The chorus sounds super nostalgic. - @Johny Wayne

One of the strongest most interesting midtempo ballads of her career, Madonna is in top form for "Intervention".    The melancholic foot tapping music bed combined with a lyrical prayer to a lover lost in the chemical sea, the combination makes a devastatingly haunting yet immensely hopeful listen.  - @MonsterJames333

This is, in my opinion, Madonna’s absolute best song. The guitar intro always gives me chill and the first verse is so beautiful and meaningful. She’s speaking about motherhood in such an intimate and truthful way. Even if I have kids one day I will never know what it’s like to be a mother but Madonna gives me those feelings perfectly. The song took a whole new meaning, especially after the Rocco situation over the past year. This is my favorite side of Madonna and I wish she would go back to being this artist. - @Bio

I appreciate the lyrics to Intervention and find it to be a pretty song but there's lots of pretty songs!  The biggest upset overall is Love Profusion and Intervention.  A shocking moment is always interesting and Intervention in the top 2 is rather shocking.  Never saw it coming!
