JusKeepBreathin 19,311
WTF Maroon 5. Why do you think releasing a single cover like this is OK? Reducing women to just body parts is so disgusting. Edonis 28,950
I don't really think that picture in particular is as objectifying as some of the other stuff they (Adam Levine mainly) have said or done in the past. Overall I agree though, that band has had those problems in the past and I don't see them changing anytime soon.

Please comprehend the difference Plus the song itself is talking about her "body", though incredibly metaphorical. Spoiler hope you got that
Hades 27,980
Many female pop stars use their body otherwise they'd be nowhere. So it's not only Maroon 5.

Reducing women to just body parts is so disgusting. Women are much more than just breasts or legs or a vagina. I know nothing about the song, but is this cover really that bad? They have put pieces of three different persons together. OK, so the torso part didn't have to be of a woman with just a sexy bra. But then again, why not? BTW, as a straight male (I am also trying to play the devil's advocate here, so don't bite my head off ), I would like to say that you can totally appreciate beautiful breasts and other body parts, without thinking a woman is just those body parts. Why is it worse to appreciate nice breasts than to appreciate beautiful eyes? I'm an eye person myself, BTW, and that makes it easy for me when I talk to women I'm attracted to - it's easy for me to maintain eye contact and not look at their breasts. It is socially acceptable to look at eyes but not at breasts, although we're just talking about physical attraction in both cases.

bloody g 31,746
That is... Disgusting. How both men are used as the face but the only woman part is their breasts. I don't know, the message I get is quite negative. But whatever makes the f**kboys buy their music I guess... 『𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝』
